Internet Policy
This policy outlines the practices Stay at Mine Limited, Be London and any associated brands employ in regards to internet access and usage.
This policy applies to any network operated by Be London, present in any unit or operational area, including staff-only areas.
Definitions
Be London: Be London refers to, and is a trading name of Stay at Mine Limited and other associated companies, which include (but are not limited to) Be London Estates Limited, Be London Holdings Limited and Be London Investments Limited.
Privacy policy, GDPR policy or Policies: Our policies as published on our website https://be.london/legal or (in the case of internal-only policies) on internal systems or referred to in the Employee Handbook.
Apartment, Property or Unit: An individual unit in which a guest has exclusive use during their stay. This is the reserved apartment or house, but does not include areas to the exterior of the individual door to the unit. Personnel authorised by Be London may enter these areas, but they are not generally open to the general public, or to guests in other units.
Operational Areas: A location which is used for operational purposes, but is not individually reservable by a guest. For example, Be London’s offices, or communal areas.
Stakeholders: Individuals who engage and communicate with Be London. This includes but is not limited to staff, guests, customers, clients, agents and partners of Be London.
Staff: An individual employed by Be London, contracted by Be London or acting on behalf of Be London.
Purpose
Internet access may be provided by Be London to all stakeholders at any unit or operational area.
This is exclusively at Be London’s discretion, and Be London reserves the right to restrict or prohibit access at any time. Additionally, Be London makes no guarantee as to the stability or speed of the internet connection, the service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. Additionally, internet usage may be monitored by Be London for the purposes of fault detection and to aid improvement of the internet and multimedia services we offer.
While the content of internet traffic is not monitored, the source and destination of unencrypted traffic may be visible, usage patterns, device connections and performance statistics are captured.
Restrictions and obligations
The use of any internet connection provided by Be London is intended for leisure, business, commercial and educational purposes.
- The internet must not be used for any illegal activities, including but not limited to hacking, copyright infringement, fraud, harassment, or any other activities that violate applicable laws.
- Users must not attempt to interfere with the normal operation of Be London’s network, including unauthorized access, network scanning, or bandwidth abuse.
- Users may not operate servers, peer-to-peer file-sharing networks, or commercial services without prior written consent.
- Be London strongly recommends that users access sensitive information (such as banking and personal accounts) only through secure, encrypted means (e.g., HTTPS, VPN, or end-to-end encrypted services).
- Users are advised that networks are localised
- Users are solely responsible for their activities while using Be London’s internet service. Be London accepts no liability for any security breaches, data loss, or unauthorised access experienced while using the network.
Be London reserves the right to block, terminate, suspend or restrict access, limit bandwidth usage and for any user at any time.
GDPR
Be London is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws.
Any network monitoring performed is for service improvement and security purposes only and does not involve access to the actual content of communications.
Internet usage data collected by Be London is not shared with third parties unless required by law or necessary for network maintenance.

By using Be London’s internet services, users acknowledge and agree to this policy. Failure to comply may result in restricted access or termination of service.
